The airline was origially founded as Ocean Air Tradeways. It was a low fare infrequent passenger service coast to coast and to Forida, Puerto Rico and Hawaii. After the demise of Transocean Air lines, it received authority to operate Oakland, CA to Okinawa with multiple stops. Its certificat was revoked for "financial insufficiency". The airline ceased operation November 30, 1964.
